If your home is getting views and saves online in the St. Petersburg market but no showing requests, you’re not alone. This is a pattern I’m currently seeing in the St. Petersburg market, especially in the $450K–$500K price range.
Many sellers assume the problem is marketing or exposure.
In reality, most homes that struggle with showings are already being seen. Buyers are just choosing not to visit in person.
Right now, buyers are behaving in two clear ways:
Choosing lower-priced homes under about $420K
Or stretching their budget for homes with pools or garages
Homes in the middle—especially those without those features—often get attention but fewer showings.
If your home has:
strong online views
multiple saves
but no showing activity
That usually means buyers are comparing it to similar homes and not seeing a clear reason to choose it first.
When this happens, the solution isn’t more marketing—it’s repositioning.
Sometimes a small price adjustment moves a home from:
“we’ll keep watching it”
to
“let’s go see it this weekend.”
The hardest homes to sell right now aren’t the worst ones — they’re the ones priced in the middle of the pack without a clear advantage.
